Terms of Use

Rista is a business-to-business (B2B) tool for registered retailers and distributors. Creating an account means you're using Rista in that capacity — as a business or service-counter operator, not as a general consumer product. Access to specific features (in particular, card lookups) is subject to admin approval and may be restricted or revoked for accounts that misuse the platform.

• You can create and sign in to your account with an email/password, or using "Continue with Google" — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that shares with us. Either way, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials (or Google account) confidential and for activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
• Card lookup features must only be used for legitimate service-counter purposes with the knowledge of the person whose record is being looked up — see the Privacy Policy for more on this.
• Accounts found to be misusing the platform — including automated/bulk abuse of the lookup services, attempting to bypass wallet billing, or sharing login credentials — may be blocked, which also revokes active sessions.

Card lookups are billed per use from a prepaid wallet; printing tools (PVC Print, Passport Studio, Bulk Design) are gated by a purchased plan. Both wallet top-ups and plan purchases are paid via UPI and credited only after manual review — see the Refund Policy for exactly how top-ups, plan purchases, and lookup charges are handled, including when a charge is reversed automatically.

Card lookup results depend on a third-party government data source outside our control; we don't guarantee that source's availability or accuracy, only that a failed lookup is reversed per the Refund Policy. We aim to keep Rista itself available, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — maintenance, upstream outages, or issues with the underlying hosting/database provider can affect availability from time to time.

Our handling of your data, including what's collected for card lookups and where everything is stored, is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Rista after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
